LocationBoth Room C3003 and the Meditaton Room are on the 3rd Floor of Jönköping University’s Library. Take the elevator in the library to the 3rd floor, go in the corridor at your right hand, turn right to find  Room C3003 and left to find the Meditation Room.

Kind reminder: 
1.Please send a message to sevenpadmameditation@gmail.com or 0723158828 if you would like to join and the number of people you are if you bring friends so we will prepare sitting cushions accordingly. 
2.It is best to wear loose clothing when you meditate;

[UPCOMING EVENT] Learn to Meditate: "GET MEDITATION STARTED'' 
October 17, 2015 Saturday 14: 00-16: 00 with Professor Anita Fang Chen from Chalmers university. Anita has been practicing meditation over 5 years herself under guidance of some renowned Tibetan scholar and meditation master.

(How to find the room: Take the elevator in the library to the 3rd floor,  go in the corridor at your right hand, turn right and you will see Room C3003)

[PROGRAM]
1. Continue to explain fundamental meditation techniques: body, speech and mind
2. Guided meditation sessions with coaching for example adjusting posture and tips according to individual needs
3. Q&A session

Why meditate?
On one level, meditation is a tool. It can help combat stress, fosters physical health, helps with chronic pain, can make you sleep better, feel happier, be more peaceful, as well as be more present.On a deeper level, meditation is a doorway into  knowing who we realy are.

How to meditate?
Come and learn to meditate with us!
You can find guidance and instruction with us crafted to meet the needs of the individual from first-time meditators to those with many years of practice. 

7-PADMA MEDITATION is a group for people wanting to experience deeper presence, awareness and compassion through meditation approach. If you are interested in learning about meditation techniques or develop your meditation experience, you are most welcome to join the community!

[GROUP ACTIVITIES]
1, Teaching events on meditation   
Meet experienced meditation teachers from Tibet, Nepal or Sweden and learn how to do different forms of meditation, to name a few, mindfulness, calm-abiding meditation, clear-seeing meditation, compassion meditation and so on. 
2, Weekly group meditation 
We have group meditation once a week on Saturdays, each time 1 hour.
Besides listening to teachings on meditation and group meditation, it is very importantto practice sitting meditation on a daily basis so that we can truly experience the power of meditation. Therefore we suggest that you individually try meditate daily at home for 1-2 times, each time 10 to 30 minutes.
